California Standards Lessons and activities are develop based on the standards set by California. All standards can be found here. Learning Stations Students move between teacher-led and independent stations practicing academics, fine motor skills, conducting science experiments, engaging with dramatic play materials, and other fun toys and games! Parents are encouraged to sign up and volunteer at Learning Stations.
Abrams Learning Trends DIG: Develop. Inspire. Grow. As educators, we all believe in the importance of developing, inspiring, and growing young minds. Yet, amid changing standards and increasing expectations, many struggle to find the appropriate path to kindergarten readiness. Restorative Justice Practices Students are introduced to the concepts of Restorative Justice Practices by participating in community circles.
Toolbox A research-based, community-tested social and emotional learning (SEL) program that builds and strengthens children’s inherent capacity for resilience, self-mastery and empathy for self and others through its curricula, methods, and strategies. The power of Toolbox Project resides in the moment-to-moment invitation to the “common language'' and "practices" of Toolbox Project. A strength/asset-based vocabulary shared among children, educators, and parents that gives children their own solutions using the 12 strategies and practices of Toolbox Project.
